In 1995 I made a music video by editing footage of my brother’s Taekwondo and Shaolin-Do exhibitions set to Information Society’s 1992 number one dance chart smash (and I know how closely you followed the dance charts in the early nineties), Peace & Love, Inc.

I used two VCR’s, one for pausing, rewinding, and playing, and the second for recording the dub. As you might imagine, this is not the most exact process, and therefore was rather time-consuming to achieve a satisfactory result. I tried to upload this to youtube a year or two ago, but they wouldn’t have it because of the Information Society copyright. Whatever, youtube. I personally think it was a better video than the (awesomely nineties) official version.

So in discussing potential videos for Candidate, Jason suggested I use the martial arts footage for some of our stuff. With some minor editing to the beat, I was pleased to see that it fit Brutal very well.

This contains footage from 1991-1994, so you could say it took over 20 years to make.
